small cloud ministries is the teaching, writing, and prayer ministry of Ed Kleiman. It is our prayer that by seeing the connection between the many scriptures throughout God's word involving prayer, understanding their importance, applying them to your life; while seeking a dependant and deeply intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, you too will persevere and grow mighty in prayer!... The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much (James 5:16).

We are committed to working towards the advancement of Christ's kingdom worldwide by His supernatural outpouring of the Holy Spirit in a genuine biblical and historical revival, by seeing God's children humbly come together in believing prayer.

"You cannot revive something that has never had life, so revival, by definition, is first of all an enlivening and quickening and awakening of lethargic, sleeping church members. Suddenly the power of the Spirit comes upon them... they are humbled, they are convicted of sin... then as a result of their quickening and enlivening, they begin to pray."

"New power comes into the preaching of the ministers, and the result of this is large numbers are converted. So the two main characteristics of revival are, first, this extraordinary enlivening of the members of the church, and, second, the conversion of masses of people who have been outside in indifference and in sin." (D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones)

"Flush with the wonder of God's awakening grace, in 1744 twelve pastors from the revived regions of central Scotland decided to coordinate all their efforts for the glory of God and the global advancement of Christ's kingdom. The Cambuslang revival caused many to consider global possibilities. Many of those who attested to the authenticity of the 1742 awakening called Cambuslang the "little cloud." What they had witnessed reminded them of the account in 1 Kings 18:44 when the prophet Elijah, fresh from vanquishing the prophets of Baal, pleaded with God to end his judgment against rebellious, drought-ridden Israel. After Elijah had prayed a seventh time, his servant looked and saw a little cloud. The cloud was the sign, said Elijah to his servant, that a mighty outpouring of God was imminent. The Scottish pastors believed such an outpouring was foretold for the latter days of the earth and across the face of the globe." (Dr. Robert Bakke's; "The Power of Extraordinary Prayer")

Today, as God's people once again unite in prayer for the glory of God and the advancement of Christ's kingdom, if you look carefully in places like South Korea, China, parts of Africa, and even in some pockets in the United States, and elsewhere, off in the distance a small cloud the size of a man's hand is rising again!

"If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7:14)
